Perhaps you should read Ezekiel or is it Daniel. There is a passage the describe what happens to thost that abandon Israel. A woe be or woe unto in somewhere. Anytime God say "woe", bad things happen.
If you believe in the Bible literally then anyone who has an affair should be killed. This is God's command so why aren't you out doing it?
