I too hope the Dems lose Nov. 7th and badly. Only then might they realize that their incessant belly-aching about Bush, the war, etc. etc. has won them nothing and then maybe they might figure out that they have to be a responsible opposition party. Unfortunately, I don't sense a Republican victory in November, other than out in CA where Arnold and Tom McClintock will buck the tide. Any gains by the Democrats in Congress will be blown out of proportion and will only embolden them to continue on their present course. Crossing my fingers and hoping that on November 8th we're all reciting:

Remember, remember the seventh of November

There is no longer a democratic party - it has been systematically and totally infiltrated and taken over by the Democratic Socialists of America.

http://www.dsausa.org/dsa.html

(As long ago as 1982, I infiltrated a meeting of the DSOC (Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee) meeting in the very shadow of our state capitol dome. "NO PRESS ALLOWED" - I was doing investigative reporting for a state wide paper att, and managed to get inside, voice activated recorder in my pocket. Our state Senate Majority leader was dismayed, a few days later, to find - on all Senate desks, including his - and through out the state, a lead story quoting him - as head speaker of the meeting, saying - as he held up a card - "I, like you, am a card carrying Socialist." - and then went on to lay out the strategy of taking over the democratic party, infiltrating and taking over local democratic committees, city/town governments, "get control of Pension Funds" - etc.

They have now succeeded. I repeat - and we should all be hollering it from the rooftops:

"There is no longer a Democratic Party. It is the Socialist Party. You can no longer vote "democrat."

The Communist Manifesto demands the following:

1.end of private property ownership (Implemented);

2. progressive and heavy taxation (Implemented);

3. end of inheritance rights (Implemented through heavy taxation);

4. government confiscation of property of emigrants and rebels (Implemented);

5. a national central bank (Implemented);

6.government control of transportation and communication (Implemented);

7. government ownership of factories and agriculture;

8. government control of labor;

9. corporate mega-farms to replace family farms (Implemented to a large degree);

10. regional planning (Implemented); and government control of education (Implemented).

Their modus operandi has been to infiltrate from within - "to take over one or both of the political parties" - (their takeover of the democratic party is now complete)

The Shoe Banger, Krushev warned us 50 years ago - "We will bury you within 50 years and we will not even have to fire a shot!" They are intent on reaching their goal to rule this country under socialism.

One thing we MUST get through is voter ID - altho' the heel dragging, I fear, may make it moot for this Nov...which means, with all the illegals and multi-votes, they well may gain control and then voter ID will die a swift death - and all tax relief will be swiftly repealed, and the blasphemous SCOTUS eminent domain ruling will forever stand, etc etc.

I believe the house has passed the voter ID =- we need to SCREAM at the senate NOW - is we have a ghost of a chance to get it operational for this year.

I do believe that were it operational this election, folk would be "confused" at the large drop in democrat votes across the country...
