We do not have enough assets in theater to knock out one million men. We would kill 50,000 and that would leave 950,000 to overrun the south. It will be a battleground which harkens back to the tactic of the Chinese. Loosing hundreds of thousands of their men is meaningless to them. They are chattle to Kim.
Everyone forgets that the Republic of Korea (ROK aka South Korea) has 600,000 men under arms, and another couple of million in the reserves. The ROKs are tough as nails, too, and shouldn't be taken for granted.
That would be based on a US go it alone which we will not do.
I don't believe they have the logistic capability to send a million men anywhere. And any such buildup would be detected immediately. While I do not deny that NK would try it I don't think they would be able to do anything but destroy a lot of shit and kill a lot of people. They have no chance of winning or holding ground.
