Wednesday, Mark Levin discussed the Las Vegas land sale scandal involving Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid and called on him to resign.
Oh yes! We want Harry Reid's email and instant messages!
Huh-technical changes indeed. Maybe Sandy Burglar can take care of that for him..
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THAT LONG SOUND BITE. MARK WAS RED HOT!

We have independent investigators already, they are called the Department of Justice.
What the hell are you talking about?
We need to get more conservatives to call for Reid's resignation!
It will at first, but WE have the power now, not them! LOL!
I just sent an email to the guys on Fox & Her Friends!
Thanks for keepiong on top of this.
No problem!
Excellent!
Mark is on fire!
Well, let's contact the Attorney General's office -- and our US Senator's office. This kind of under the counter money to pol's is pretty common and should never be done.
Just started getting carried in Vegas this year. Its one a pretty big delay though. It doesn't start until 6pm PST.
1. Reid spent $400k in 1998 to buy a piece of land near Las Vegas. (Question: Where'd he get the money?)
2. In 2001, Reid entered into a partnership with a shady character. His contribution to the partnership was the land. He was a 75 percent partner.
3. Reid did not report the transfer of the land in his annual financial report to the Senate. He did not report his interest in the partnership to the Senate.
4. The partnership was able to obtain a rezoning of the land. The local zoning board voted against rezoning, but was overruled by a higher body of politicians. Senator Reid's name was used in connection with the zoning request.
5. The property taxes on the land were paid by Reid from a personal account, and by his partner. The amounts did not always come out to 75/25, but they later settled up. If the partner paid more than his share, that could be construed as an imputed income to Reid.
6. After rezoning the land, the partnership was able to sell the land to a developer who was able to complete the project. The land was sold for $1.6 million in 2004. Reid got $1.1 million of that, a gain of about $700k. That amount was not quite 3/4 of the sales price, but perhaps the partnership had expenses which lowered the net profit.
Unknown is how Reid treated the tax consequences of these transactions and whether he reported the transfer, the partnership income and the property tax payments properly. What is known is that he did not report the transactions properly to the Senate. Also, it is interesting that the partnership was oral, not in writing. Why did Reid want to keep this from being written down? Was he just trying to hide his relationship to this seedy character? Or was there more to it? Was the partnership used to funnel bribes to Reid?
These are issues for further investigation. Right now, it's a clear reporting violation. Whether it's more than that is unknown. Where there's smoke, there may be fire. Keep on it, freepers.
