Won't get this kitty into a small private aeroplane, no siree, I'd rather walk ten miles to a Dixie Streisands concert!

It's been posted a bunch already, but as the evening crew comes on, it may not hurt to repost it.
It's a crying shame, and just one of those weird accidents that happen in life, IMHO.

Lidle pitched for the A's awhile back, if I'm not mistaken. Prayers for his family, he will be missed.

There is a picture going around of Alec Baldwin trying to get past the place tape at the crash scene. He looks PO'ed that someone would want him to obey the law at a crash scene. I won't steal the pic, but instapundit.com has the link.

Law enforcement officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Lidle's passport was found on the street.Planes should start being fabricated out of passport paper.
Somehow paper passports miraculously survive every conflagration and land neatly on the ground near the crash scene.

This is probably a dumb question, but why would he have his passport on him? I thought you had a passport, on your person, when you left the country?
