I remember the incident because some "radio fans" like me were heading to a get-together in Chelmsford, MA, at an ice cream place owned by a DJ who was part of our group...and the big story that day (mentioned on news and during ballgames) was Kile's death. Well, gallows humor is an old tradition on FR. We all face death, and one never knows when the bell will toll for thee. Gallows humor makes it a bit more bearable.
