Nope, this is a cessna. His plane is low wing and is the one that has a built in chute that can be deployed to land. They work well except if you drift into a lake....

My best friend lives in New York and her DH is on the police force and has been at the scene since right after it happend. She told me he confirmed over the phone to her in fact that Corey Lidle was on the plane and is now deceased.
