Wouldn't flying IFR on a "sight seeing trip" be kinda pointless?
Well, yeah, doesn't seem like much of a day for a sightseeing trip, though. I guess what got me wondering is that, if the guy was VFR, he can't climb through those clouds, right? So he's stuck at 1500' or lower until the weather breaks. From what VERY little I know about aviation, that seems a bit low for a light twin, or at least uneconomical.
It's pretty pointless to speculate this early, I guess. Not that it ever stopped any of us before... :)
