with the Foley scandal going on and the GOP being distracted and all the polls showing a huge Dem pickup, don't you think this article is a little exercise in wishful thinking ?

Maybe, but the Dhimmicrats and the media ('scuse the redundance) are also engaged in even more wishful thinking.

The constant barrage of media polls spelling doom for the GOP (which are only contradicted a few days later by other polls that ask questions differently); and the simultaneous gloom being hawked by pundits, all reeks of desperation --on the part of the Dims.

I expect the loss of only a few seats by the GOP --mainly because historical precedent shows that the incumbent majority party always loses seats in an off-year congressional election, where the president is in his second term.

The GOP will have narrower margins in both houses, but they won't lose either one. IMHO.

Remember 2002. The GOP majority in the House was 6. We actually added seats when everyone including bad over his head Carver said we would lose.

My liberal fish wrap of a paper, had an above the fold headline that stating "Texas stands to gain committee chairmanships" if the the Dems take control.

It then went on to say that with the GOP in control Texas only has one chairmanship. Talk about a free advertisement!!!

What a crock!! The LSM is out in full force for the RATS!
