CNN was reporting that it was where the military stored confiscated ammo including IEDs but FOX is reporting it is actual US military munitions.

To add to the fun going on at FOB Falcon, the IZ has taken more incoming IDF rounds tonight than it has since I arrived in February. Are the bad guys coordinating better???

Here is the text from Fox:
"BAGHDAD, Iraq A fire broke out at an ammunition depot at a U.S. base in southeast Baghdad on Tuesday night, setting off a series of explosions, the U.S. military said. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, said Lt. Col, Christopher C. Garver, a military spokesman.
Blasts from the ammunition in the depot at Forward Operating Base Falcoln went off for at least a half hour and were felt several miles away. Helicopters were seen flying over the area.
Authorities are "trying to determine the cause or any threat to the population," Garver said, adding that there were no immediate reports of casualties."
