What was there were men holding placards saying "I AM A MAN," which can be seen in the photo on the book cover and in many other photos of the strike, as well as in the display on the strike at the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis.
How do you explain that you claim (in Post #411) that the Memphis garbagemen's march was in 1966 and not 1968, as every other source has it? Maybe it's you that's thinking of some other march.
