it makes NO DIFFERENCE at all whether the segregation is "de facto" or "de jure". all that IS important is the RESULT!

So by the same logic, it makes no difference whether a minority group is actively harassed and beaten by the police for attempting to vote, or whether they just stay home and don't vote because they don't care.

If you can't see the difference between using state power to support racism and not using state power, then I don't see how you can call yourself a conservative.

i can't see the FUNCTIONAL difference IF the school remains SEGREGATED and INTENTIONALLY that NO STEPS are taken by anyone to end that segregation!

just out of curiosity, do you BELIEVE that DESEGREGATION/INTEGRATION is a WORTHY goal for NORTHERN schools??? OR do you think it's only worthwhile for us southerners???

fwiw, as a member of the "unionist faction", you have a LOT of NERVE to say that ANYONE is not conservative, given the STATIST/LEFTIST/REVISIONIST attitudes (and in a few cases RACIST/ANTI-Semetic comments) of the "DAMNyankee coven"!

once more, should we southerners send you some FREEDOM RIDERS to help YOUR schools desegregate???? (we'll be glad to return the favor!)
