As some of y'all may've noticed, FT pings have become few and far between. This isn't because I'm abandoning the list, but rather because my time online has been so limited lately for various reasons. For some while I relied primarily on pings alerting me to FT threads, but for whatever reason I rarely get pinged anymore. Anyhow, just thought I'd mention that the FT list is not defunct, although it might seem like that at times.

Cool. (Even though I understand maybe 5% of what the article means.)

Again, google DeBroglie, matter waves and his U=c^2/v equation.

Sounds sorta like they've separated entangled particles by about a foot and a half and still can use the entanglement. Talk about needing tin (well, cesium) foil.

Can you give us a brief on the bottom line practicality, probable applications, common benefits and and a projected time line to all this?

So, the question in my mind is, how long does it take the information to travel between the "entangled particles" or is it, as they imply, instantaneous teleportation?
If it is the latter, we have faster than light transmission of information.
