OK, we all know how lame this is and how straw polls are meaningless (except for very unusual situations), but just stop for a minute.

Imagine, just for a moment, that the polls in this race are as bogus as the polls before the 2000, 2002 and 2006 elections. Wouldn't it just fry the noodle of everyone in the DNC and the drive by media if she won? And wouldn't it give the RINOs and self appointed inside the beltway "conservative" pundits reason to fear for their continued existence?

Just savor the notion for a moment.

OK, you can now return to reality.... but do not, under any circumstances forget what that moment felt like. Now, carry that notion with you when you go to vote, wherever you are. And no matter the odds, it might just happen, in your district and state and even, God willing, in Florida.

I will state, here and now, based on reports from a fellow Freeper who lives in Foley's old district, that the DBM is wrong about what's going to happen there. I now firmly believe that Negron is going to be the next congressman from that district. That conviction is what started me down this particular train of thought, about Harris and all of the other "done deals" that Chris Matthews and Katie Couric are trying to shove down our throats. I just don't buy it anymore, but it takes us all acting on that notion. Even if it's only to spite them, it's worth it.

I live in that district and even briefly worked on an opponent's campaign versus him in his first primary race.

Foley is well liked and I can't imagine the seat going Dem.

Well we are going to drag ourselves over broken glass here in Florida for K Harris,Bill Mcollum,Joe Negron,Charlie Crist,Tom Lee,Charles Bronson. we are fighting mad about the smarmy, slimy tactics of the Rat Party of Florida. I have a good feeling about K Harris, she is the Most Qualified and does not take any crap off these Good Old Boys. She is backed solidly by the Florida Federated Republican Women Inc.,and has been from Day one. we will never waver in our Support and we have to comply with those idiotic John Mccain finance laws, but we will get the job down despite the handcuffs. Democrats do not comply with any rules or Laws, but we will and still beat their @sses. Yup, we have good feelings and we have 4 weeks to go. Nelson is a senile old cracker, and if you ever saw his Ads, he seems like he is either on heavy meds or is in the serious throes of Dementia. He has enough money for 10 campaigns, but cannot talk about his record of accomplishments, because he has none. His one claim to fame is that he was a Congressman Astronaut, but he cannot even talk about that because of the Gigantic Blue Condom looking Picture with John Kerry in the Spacecraft. They had no Business even in the Spacecraft and they looked really stupid, like elderly Teletubbies.

It's still four weeks to election day, but I think we may just 'ramjet' to victory :-)
