history has shown that failure to respond to an act of aggression by a manical creep with swift and overwhelming force will haunt American interests for decades to come (assuming there will be decades to advance into...). Crazy Kim seems to show no interest in diplomacy. talk is cheap and worthless when there is nothing to negotiate. treaties are useless and are worth the paper they are written upon. in the time it will take to build a Security Council agenda for force, Kim will have plenty of time to figure out how to make a warhead fly on missiles. I know what he would do if the situation were reversed.

In the meantime, he can deliver that weapon of Pakistani design the Pakistani way: by fighter aircraft with lots of decoys around it.

Or does he only make the noise, while his recipient, Iran, plans to build up more? IMO, Iran has the money and will build more first.

Why are we waiting for a disfunctional security council that is a laughingstock, has done nothing about Iran but get half of itself bought, includes the Russians who knew about this test and its expected yield rather than the actual, and the Chinese who took the occasion to warn us, not the NKs, not to do anything about it, etc?

Please stop asking for permission from mortal enemies to lift a finger in our own defense. In case nobody noticed, it will not be forthcoming. If all you plan to do is pontificate and deprived them of ball point pens, by all means, farce your way to the graveyard.
