Tonight there were power shortages all over Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg. “Youth gangs” took the opportunity, spreading the European tradition of “Ramadan Riots.” Within an hour most schools and commercial centers in the north eastern suburbs were vandalized.
- It’s complete chaos in north eastern Gothenburg. “We’ve sent all available police units but there’s no way we can stop the vandalisation,” police spokesman Frank Karlsson tells gp.se.
- Several youth gangs are wandering about smashing windows and breaking into schools, malls, banks and a retirement center.
Not a word about this on the wires...

Yes, just like in the French banlieus, the police are completely overrun and non-Muslim citizens are hiding wherever they can. When it gets to this point, it's time to start shooting real lead. Anarchy cannot be allowed to take hold. When the rest see a couple dozen dead, they may head back home. And if they don't, keep shooting.
It's a shame since I have always wanted to see it.
Europe is turning to the right however slowly (Merkel in Germany first and, I hope, soon to be followed by Sarkozy in France)...
Europe knows quite well now that socialism is a failure and open immigration of muzzies was a big mistake. The muzzies in Europe are going to force a response and IMO it won't be pretty.

In Gothenburg more than 50,000 households lost power for around two hours Sunday night. During the outage youth gangs broke windows in shops and schools, and threw rocks at police who tried to intervene. No one was detained, and the damage stopped when street lighting returned around midnight.
The electrical company Eon is investigating if the failure of a power station in Malmö was caused by sabotage. More than 25,000 households were without electricity for about an hour Saturday night. Several people were seen running away from the transformer station, and witnesses reported an explosion.
Finally, an electrical fire in a commuter train at Stockholm’s central station knocked out both local and long distance rail traffic Sunday night. Trains were delayed by between 30 and 45 minutes while rescue workers put out the fire. There were no injuries.

In this instance, it would be hard to claim that the Swedes have a true "understanding" of the problem if they have "no-go" zones in their own country. Think about that for a second.
Better yet, burn down a mosque for Ramadan.
France has plenty of "no go" zones and while Chirac doesn't get it, Sarkozy gets it quite well (and the muzzies know he gets it)
Otherwise, I agree that most countries don't get it as a whole and all are getting a wake-up call about the dangers of islam.

I hope you're right and that it's a decisive response. I'm consistently amazed, though, that so many Europeans apparently don't feel that ANYTHING is worth fighting for, including their childrens' future. I don't understand that mindset.
Yeah. Somebody said Mohammad had the morals of a bonobo, and I sprang to my feet in indignaion and said he most certainly did NOT have the morals of a bonobo.
Americans, at least half of them, are fighters.
There are some European Freepers who are also fighters and they tell of others in Europe that are eager to fight.
I hope like h$ll they are right, because islam doesn't really give much of a choice...it's either fight or die (or convert, of course, but that's a state worse than death IMO).

The cause of the blackout was a fault in an electricity station in Lärde, combined with a simultaneous failure in a transformer in Stenkullen.
