That's good, but China and Japan just said yesterday that a NK nuke test was "unacceptable". OK, well, are they accepting it or not?

I'll say plainly what I think should happen. Risky as hell. But we should let China know if they don't put a stop to this we will, and decisively. The NK leadfership should be told we wil take out their program and them in short order. China should be given an opportunity to go in and get the job done on the ground. But not a long opportunity. And if we have to attack, yes we risk NK launching devastating attacks on Seoul.

First, I believe Kim would back down. Second, if he didn't we would resolve this once and for all.

Maybe a head strong policy but thus far we seem to have achieved a nuclear N Korea. I think NK does not want our attention, our oil or our money. They want nuclear weapons and missiles to deliver them with.

This wouldn't have happened if Peking didn't want it to.

China can talk all they want about it being unacceptable and going through the motions of talk and negotiations, but anyone with any common sense knows who's side China is on and what their ultimate goals are.

Now, I'm not saying that they're celebrating in Zhongnanhai but if this was something that they felt that strongly about it wouldn't have happened.

The bottom line is that China is ok with this and implicitly approves and we should plan accordingly.
