It looks like this might be it, and I expect that after two years of watching the Dims turn Congress into a circus, the GOP will come back - hopefully, under the leadership of principled conservatives like Coburn.

The advantage would not be in how a Dem congress would repulse the electorate but in the fact that it would allow the GOP to sweep out some dead wood, something long overdue.

If you want change within the GOP, you do it within the primaries...

You need only to look at the reasons of the GOP landslide in 94.
Slick Willie and Democrats so over reached that the American Public righted itself in 94.

That would be real clever! We are one seat away on the USSC from getting rid of abortion, queer marriage, affirmative action, and gun control.

You think it would be better to pout and wait another 40 years for this chance?

problem is the dead wood will be conservatives like Santorum, leaving more worthless middle of the road rino losers to run the party...afraid to take stands on anything.

Two years of Charlie Rangel refusing to fund the military can do a lot of harm. I refuse to think this is a good idea..."winning by losing." Hogwash.

Few people are going to change their votes over this issue, and I am sick of people acting like Time Magazine is even going to come close to telling the truth!

Their cover is an elephant rear end! What does THAT tell you?
