Thank you. I'd never even thought about looking it up.
I'll say this much in favor of Liberace. He was a very good musician and equally great showman. I remember one instance on his old TV show back circa 1953....if memory serves....
However on that show instead of playing just the piano he also played trumpet, sax, trombone, flute and a few other instruments. He was really good too. Very accomplished musician.
However his "lifestyle" was a big turn off for me.

Old ladies adored him. They liked Lawrence Welk too. I remember old aunties of mine liking both TV shows and I remember that I hated both shows...lol.
