Sour Grapes here.
New thread Ping.
Holy Moly if everyone gave 2 bucks ya'll would not need to have 1,000 post to support FR.

I say stop posting wind it down and let those of us who give do just that. Put it on your tagline give a donation to FR keep us going.
This whole whoo hoo thing did not incline me to give a penny.

However the daily Mass posted by Salvation is something very serious in my life. So I support FR...
It is from my heart due to a person who has had access on this forum to give a gift daily.

Whoo Hoo? Not. FreeRepublic YES!

Oh and I just hooked up with Freeper tech geeks.

One stop shopping without the aisle rage.
So all ya'll who lurk and learn heck give 2bucks a month.

I Like it. 2 bucks a month club.

Two problems with your reasoning- everyone doesn't give two bucks and the only way that has been found to generate new donors is through posts to support FR.

I say stop posting wind it down and let those of us who give do just that. Put it on your tagline give a donation to FR keep us going.

And then I guess if your "lowkey" tagline approach doesn't generate enough money then FR should just shut down?

This whole whoo hoo thing did not incline me to give a penny.

I guess you don't like the "whoo hoo", yet you to come on this thread with your "Sour Grapes". Not sure why you think that this negative approach will be so much more successful than a positive one. I personally don't think Sour Grapes are better than Whoo Hoo.

I'm not really sure what you are hoping to accomplish with your post. I guess you think that your ankle-biting at those who are doing their best to raise the needed funds, and staying positive at the same time, is a charitable act. I don't get it.

What are you trying to accomplish with this post?
