Looks like the crowd wraps all the way around out of view in the background, and goes at least some distance closer to the camera and to the right. Gotta be a hundred thousand people.

Those folks (and I agree they appear to be over a hundred thousand) better start "B.L.O.A.T"ing Big Time! It's going to be a bitter, bloody civil war down there...

Given the other picture looking the other way, and now adding this pic...I believe there were several hundred thousand people there, maybe close to a million even.

Amen to that...I just wonder how many firearms though are in the hands of the people down there. I have a sister-in-law from down there and my brother, who is fluent in spanish, has been down there several times. She has no plans of ever living there again...and as many as possible, who have the means, are getting out.
Chavez is a marxist and the friend of tyrants. He is buying the peasant vote...but I am arfraid they have no idea how he is, and intends, to use them.
