Foley's consituents were well aware of his proclivity. They embrassed him and re-elected him every time.

I suspect that BLACKMAIL is at the heart of this fiasco.

To blame Hastert is unconscionable.

The Miami Heral is reporting they did not reveal the fact THEY KNEW about Foley and his homosexual lover (and his trolling for recreational sex with other men) [This is from the Beltway Boys on FNC.]

....BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE DISRUPTED THEIR ACCESS TO FOLEY.

IOW The Miami Herald was using their knowledge of Foley the homosexual as a THREAT so they would be able to have access to him. How many stories did he leak in order to keep his life quiet? How many times did the Herald remind them about keeping his life quiet?

(don't they have

An article written by Evan Thomas (gag me) was just posted...it is pretty long...kind of a history of this.

The name that just pops up to me is that Fordham guy....he worked for Foley, is openly gay...left Foley to work for someone else...but, according to that article just happened to be having lunch with Foley on that Friday that the news came out and Foley resigned...in fact Foley got the "bad news" WHILE he was having lunch with Fordham.

And, who is the investigators main "source"? Fordham
