We all really are still hurting here,we lost someone we really cared for and liked along with all his long time employees that were just the Best at what they did.

He's going to need friends when this all settles out.  Whatever his issues and whatever he's done.  Think of how the Amish forgave the murderer of their children and embraced his family and prayed for him.  So far with Foley we don't have any proof of anything beyond being gay and bad judgement.  All of the overt "icky stuff" appears to have been held for after these people were adults and were already open about their own sexuality.

You would be surprised how many Football Players,professional athletes,Doctors,Lawyers,etc are in the Closet Gays,and they Love to Date Younger Guys in their early twenties, just like the Hetero Males in their late 50's want to date the 19 year old former Prom Queen. Sometimes it is all about being selfish and immature.

Samantha - I have no doubt that Foley was a good congressman for your district. I've seen him many times on TV - on the floor, at hurricanes, on talk shows and he always impressed me- - -well spoken and appeared to be a good congressman that really cared about his district and constituents. I'm so disappointed and sick about the whole thing - - i can only imagine what you must be going through. I pray that Negron will be elected as I think he'd serve you and your district well.
