Why doesn't someone point out that in WWII, when we invaded Iwo Jima and Okinawa, our casualties rose sharply.

Just before we won the freakin' war.

This is not quid pro quo.

More Americans were killed in Europe in 1945 than in 1944. What year did the war end? MSM spin with no historical context at all. Shocking I know.

You are right.

When the American forces attacked Okinawa , April 1, 1945 – June 21, 1945, we suffered 12,500 KIA or missing in action and 38,000 combat wounded and 33,000 non combat wounded. We lost 33 ships, and 763 aircraft.

We killed 110,000 of the enemy. We sank 16 of his ships and destroyed 7,800 of his aircraft. Less than 2 months later, on August 15th 1945, the war ended with a bang in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

It is darkest before the dawn.
