I rest my case. The way you phrased your questuion is the whole point of this excercise....there is no difference between the parties.

Perhaps you are not reading it correctly so I will reword it for you.

People can be gay and NOT feel it is their mission in life to militantly force it on the rest of us. AND, people can be gay and STAUNCHLY pro-life.

I completely understood your point. YOU are missing MY point. You and I will vote for the republicans. MOST of the evangelicals will vote for the republicans. This episode won't change that. What is in question is the vote of those who are so conservative that they believe that the GOP "needs" or "deserves" to lose this election. The dems are aiming at that segment of the electorate with this stunt. They want them NOT to vote AT ALL. They know they won't vote dem. But, if they don't vote - it's the same thing. If they can convince that segment of the electorate to stay away from the polls, the dems win.
