I spent 18 months as a co-driver on a moving van, with a guy who had every Slim Whitman album, on 8-track, ever recorded.
I fancy myself a country music officianado, but I had never heard of Slim Whitman until I got in that truck.
Apparently, he's very popular in Great Britain and most of civilized Europe.
I have Hank Jr., and Boxcar Willie's rendition of "Ramblin In My Shoes"

Then you have heard "Blood in the saddle" That was something. I have to say that it's possible Natalie sings better, maybe.
