Where does a man go when he has been pilloried on cable television talk shows as an unrepentant pedophile and possibly a murderer despite never having been convicted of a crime?
Nobody would say what John Mark Karr, the former suspect in the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, is going to do since he was freed Thursday after child pornography charges were dropped in Sonoma County, but his plans became partly clear about noon on Friday.
That's when an employee of the Convent of the Sacred Heart school in San Francisco, where Karr worked briefly as a teacher's aide in 2000 when he lived in the Bay Area, called police to report that the 41-year-old former schoolteacher was wandering around outside the classrooms on Broadway.
Sgt. Steve Mannina said a limousine carrying Karr and two segment producers from ABC's "Good Morning America" show was stopped shortly after the reported sighting. The officer took their names but could not arrest them because they did not break any laws, Mannina said.
"He stepped out of the limo and stood (outside the school) for two or three minutes, walked down the sidewalk, went up to the door and looked in the window, Mannina said.
Limo rides, segment producers and San Francisco entertainment lawyer Christopher Edward Reggie will likely be playing prominent roles in Karr's life from now on.
"Mr. Karr is very interested in getting the truth about him in the media," said Reggie, who would not comment directly about his new client's limo ride on Friday. "This is a guy who obviously has limited resources. I don't know that he is looking for money, but we are all working for money. It's not a situation where he has to go out and solicit."
Karr's flirtation with the limelight is not surprising...

But completely expected.
GLORIFYING A FREAKING PEDOPHILE!!
GEESH!
I'd better stop now ... before I am banned at FR. Nasty words come to mind ... .
Media whores.
Bet Nancy Grace is fuming she didn't get him on her show first!
OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Limo rides to local schools aren't the only thing Karr has to look forward to. He is apparently weighing a slew of offers, interview requests and inducements from networks and cable television shows.

Sex sells, and it doesn't matter what kind it is. And ABC, with Brian Ross and Good Morning America, understands this. Ratings are a good thing. /sarc

I'm not a person who ever vomits, but this time, I think I may have to make an exception.
*barf*
After having seen a few pictures of this creep my belief is that we ought to hang the deev now, crime TBA.
Just out of curiosity, I had to check and see if his new entertainment attorney, Christopher Reggie, is in any way related to Ted Kennedy's wife.
It doesn't appear so, but he did live in Boston and is a Harvard Law School grad - just that he's from Pasadena, CA, originally, not from south Louisiana. However, his mother was a Prudhomme, so there's still the possibility.
Here's some about the lawyer:

Hmmm. Elsewhere, in an alum pub, he says he lives in SF with his two dogs.
This whole scenario really does make me ill. I wonder what kind of cut the crockmeister Tracey will get from all this to-do. Oh, ugh.
