This just shows they're not complete idiots and have adequate legal advice. It's not to their political advantage to do anything other than to serve up indignant speeches and condemnation of the 'pedophile-defending' GOP.
If pressure grows or they see political advantage, they will suddenly want to testify.

This is totally unacceptable.
I think Hastert should make one FINAL statement to put this thing to bed. In this statement he needs to DISARM the Dems of using the "drip drip drip" technique as more pages come forward, etc.
He should say this matter IS being investigated, that it is to be EXPECTED that more revelations about Foley will come to light as is standard in any investigation, and these issues ARE being addressed. Finito.
Then for good measure he could add that Democrats are obstructing this investigation by refusing to answer questions under oath, that if they truly wanted this matter to be settled they would cooperate.
THEN, the GOP needs to shift into offensive gear on other matters and drown out the attempts to keep Foleygate alive. Every time a Dem brings it up, counter it with Dems' lack of cooperation in the investigation--shut them down and make it so that they know if they go there they will come out with egg on their faces.
Anyway, these are my thoughts on this matter.

To a democrat an appearance in front of an Ethics Committee is like garlic to a vampire.

Wannabe Speaker Pelosi:
What are you hiding?
Who are your protecting?
What did you know and when did you know it?

Of course they won't answer....the DIMS know if they are under oath they are cooked. This put up job is beyond the pale and Pelosi knows it. We know where she stands...and it is right in the middle of the mud slide. Trying to get Republicans not to vote is an absolute laugh...they may be a bunch who won't stoop to DNC lows, but they aren't stupid. We will run not walk to the voting booth!!!

No. And unless a larger story evolves and draws the interest of some independent media figure like Stossel, you won't hear it there.
There's a smaller chance you might hear it via Fox News. But they aren't even reporting that Jason Edmund was 18 when the cybersex IM occured. So I'm not holding my breath on FNC either.

Pelosi IS the middle because she is tied to the Katsaros family ....Robin, writing a book on pages and solictited IM's from them....Gay son Chris was a Pelosi PAGE, and husband John is an Internet security Expert!!!
