Do great teachers tell bold-faced lies? Jesus said he was the Son of God, the Messiah, the embodiment of God. the only way to God and Heaven. Is that the Truth?
I'm not limited to the King James version of the Bible.
He told no lies. He spoke about the Gnosis. The Messiah gave the hidden Gnosis to the people. We are all the embodiment of God...God created all.

Gnosticism is a Greek term which relates to a special kind of privileged or hidden knowledge that is not common to all but to chosen ones and/or understanding or consciousness gained through personal experience. To the gnostic salvation came by discovering hidden knowledge and experience, not a free gift from God. To the gnostic knowledge is discovered from mystical personal experiences, not knowledge known to all by the God's revelation, God's Word.
Writers of the New Testament repeatedly condemned gnostic teachings. There are several epistles (examples: Colossians and 1 John) that address the ancient heresy of gnosticism that is now having a revival (The Da Vinci Code is perhaps the latest and greatest repackaging of Gnosticism). Some have noted that the purpose of the book of Colossians was to: "refute the Colossian heresy of Gnosticism."
