Democratic Governor Jon Corzine proposed the sales tax expansion earlier this spring to help the state to recover from a $4.5 billion budget deficit, an ABC News affiliate in New York reported recently on its Web site. The changes, along with a sales tax rate hike from 6 to 7 percent, took effect on Oct. 1. Let's see, the reason why they need to raise the taxes is because of a budget deficit caused by ????.
A. High dollar public contracts to campaign contributors
B. Failed social programs
C. Corruption
D. Spending like druken sailors
E. Rediculous government worker pay raises (for a special few) and BIG FAT pensions
F. All of the above
Hmmm... I'll take a guess and say the answer is F!
