You know in watching the spin on Iraq the Democrats are running, I think we can define the American Public as P.A.D.D. Police Attention Deficit Disorder.

We are currently winning in Iraq right now. Problem is thanks to the Junk Media and the Treason of the Democrat Party Leadership most Americans have no clue how well the mission is actually going.

It is incredibly odd how Democrats, via their mouthpieces in the Junk Media, demand a level of perfection in Military operations that NO Journalist or Politician could ever live up to in their own professional spheres. Odd how Americans, who live with a very high level of incompetent in their government, their media, their day to day lives are so surprised and upset to discover war does work on a perfectly flawless time table. They seem to think war sould work like their two hour Hollywood action movies told them it did. 2 Hours, bad guys dead, sympathy frag of supporting actor, hero gets girl and lives happily ever after. These absurd expectations explain how it is Americans get "war weary" so very very rapidly. It is one of the biggest Achilles heels of US Foreign Policy. Our foes count on us getting bored with it all and just going home. I guess we could call it the America's Policy Attention Deficit Disorder.

Counter Terrorism (or Counter Insurgency) is as much about politics as it is about war. Conventional Military often find them incredibly frustrating because they are usually a case of 3 steps forward, 2 steps back, pause, repeat. Conventional Military people think in terms of go there, kill them, wreck their stuff, make them stop pissing us off. Counter Insurgency does not work that way. Counter Insurgency works by making the local political structure strong enough to contain or beak the Insurgency. THAT is a slow painful process.

It is made a lot hard in Iraq by the hyper negative Media coverage and excessive nonsense spewed out by Domestic Politicians using the war because they think it will help them politically. I suspect that if we win Nov 7th, the Iraq mission is won. By 2009 the Iraqis political structure will be strong enough to stand on its own with minimal US support. Probably Iraq security forces stiffened with US SOF support teams.

I am aware of what both the media and Democrats are doing and I try to keep up on it because no matter what they do they still have to be countered.  Most successful elections require independent voters to win them so we must respond to what is being said and done.

Democrats and the media have taken the concept that "perception is reality" so far out there that it honestly becomes funny.  I believe we have to take the threat seriously but we should stop taking these media and Democrat operatives seriously as well.  We are giving them far more credibility than any of them have earned or deserve.

First we have to learn IF there is a problem with the pages in DC.  If there is, we'll fix it just as we have done with other problems.  The very idea a Pelosi, Conyers, Franks, Jefferson, Rangle or any other Democrat fixing any congressional problems is ludicrous on its face.   Someone, anyone, please tell me one problem Democrats have addressed or fixed in twelve years?  Who in their right mind actually believes the Democrat party has held any member accountable or responsible for their actions in our generation?

Okay, now for the media and pollsters.  Someone, anyone, tell me which media network or pollster has predicted the results of any major national election correctly within thirty or sixty days of that election since 2000?

It should not be a surprise that if a political party is incapable of the leadership needed to govern a country, they should not be elected.  The global war on terror is going our way, the economy is doing great, tax revenues are up, interest rates down, unemployment is down and Republicans are advancing bills addressing the issues the country is concerned about such as illegal immigration.  Let's face it, the Democrats have nothing but this Foley incident and their relentless blind opposition to President Bush and the war on terrorism to talk about.

Our job is to fend off the B$, return the national conversation to issues critical to our country and educate voters as we are getting out the vote in thirty days. Voters have to know the plan Democrats are advancing is based on eliminating funding for the war on terrorism and Iraq, raising taxes, eliminating the tax breaks people already have, open the borders, register illegal aliens to vote and spend money to investigate President Bush, VP Cheney and DOD Sec. Rumsfeld.  This isn't us saying that, this was put forth by both Nancy Pelosi and Charlie Rangle.  And I won't even bring up Majority Leader Murtha.
