Go read the bood deal thread at the end....Robin Kasaros's words are interesting....and a freeper thinks that when she uses "book project" she could be meaning "sting operation". Her son was a gay page working for Peolsi and her husband is an Internet Security Expert" and they are Liberal Democrats!!

Kind of reminding me of the "innocent" Florida couple driving around their car listening to the radio!

And very suddenly "accidentally" Newt Gingrich tunes in with a phone conversation with another congress member!!

Then it winded "innocently" up at "Bagdad"-mcdermott's desk!!!

An "innocent" Florida couple with an exceptionally well-tuned scanner - enough to make an Intelligence Agency jealous so I hear- AND who just happened to have a very good recording device ready to record anything they "stumble" across.

McDermott had to open a defense fund account because the pubbies sued him- and guess who paid into the account? None other than the Iraqi-American al Khafaji, the same guy who bribed UN inspector Scott Ritter with the movie deal money. Al Khafaji was getting oil for food money from the Baathist regime.

McDermott's trip to Baghdad- where he denounced the US- was funded by Life for Relief and Development [Key words L4RD & LIFE4RD], the terror charity which was just raided by the FBI last month, a charity whose fundraiser bragged of funding the insurgecy in Fallujah. The group has ties to Hamas. L4RD was funded in part by al Khafaji, probably using his oil for food proceeds and money from his South African based Falcon Trading Group which did millions of dollars of business with the regime.

Al Khafaji was involved indirectly or otherwise with Bayoil, whose owner Chalmers was also benefitting from smuggled oil. Shakir al Khafaji donated to other notable Dems as well, particularly Bonior, Conyers and Levin. Al Khafaji had once been caught illegally exporting guns to Iraq; while he claimed to have lost a relative to the regime he was quite tight with the regime and held conferences in Baghdad for "expatriates." IMHO these "expatriates" included IIS operatives.

APRIL 2005 : (US CONGRESS : DEMOCRATS REFUSE TO CONVENE ETHICS COMMTEE IN ORDER TO PROTECT JIM MCDERMOTT) While the Democrats pretend to be appalled at phony ethics violations of Tom DeLay, they are refusing to convene the ethics committe in order to protect one of their own, Baghdad Jim McDermott.
The House ethics committee last year [2004] began looking into a complaint filed against Rep. Jim McDermott, Washington Democrat, over a 1997 incident in which he gave reporters an illegally recorded phone conversation among House members.
House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, Texas Republican and a recent target of Democrats' ethics charges, said in an interview with The Washington Times on Wednesday that he would be cleared by a committee investigation, but that Democrats are refusing to convene as a way of shielding Mr. McDermott.
According to a Republican aide, "The Democrats have frozen the committee and have frozen the investigation, and it's helping one of their own."
The complaint against Mr. McDermott stems from a 1996 [some sources say 1997] conference call among Rep. John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican, and other members of Congress, including House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Georgia Republican, in which the congressmen discussed how to respond to an ethics investigation of Mr. Gingrich.
Mr. Boehner was in Florida at the time and his cell phone call was intercepted by a Florida couple, Alice and John Martin, who recorded it.
In January 1997, the Martins gave the recording to Mr. McDermott, the top Democrat on the ethics panel [at the time]. Mr. McDermott subsequently leaked the tape to news outlets, including the New York Times. When the Martins revealed Mr. McDermott's role in leaking the tape, the congressman resigned from the ethics panel.
...In August, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that Mr. McDermott had 'participated in an illegal transaction when he accepted the tape,' and fined him $60,000 plus Mr. Boehner's attorney fees. Unlike Tom DeLay, McDermott's actions were illegal. Yet his party is protecting him.
