From what been said I think it is a pretty clear that this ex page is not gay. Yet, he is engaing in gay sex talk. That leads to believe that this was a "prank" unless I am missing something

That could be true. I guess I am going off my gut instinct when I first saw his pics. Kinda of a wise cracking Frat boy type that I could see thinking that was fun and sharing it with friends.

However this book deal stuff if true takes it way beyond that.
