Early this year, when pre-assembled bundles containing hundreds of miles of cabin wiring were delivered from a German factory to the assembly line in France, workers discovered that the bundles, called harnesses, didn't fit properly into the plane. Assembly slowed to a near-standstill, as workers tried to pull the bundles apart and re-thread them through the fuselage.

Note to self, NEVER fly on any of these death traps.

Imagine the maintenance headaches if a few airliner DO buy it and take delivery of the A-380...
In either case, they will lose huge amounts of money if they move on with the A-380, or cancel the program.
So what they are saying ? is ? that they almost have to virtually redesign the airplane ?
