Deval Patrick IS The Race Card
Bob Parks: Black & Right ^ | 10/6/06 | Bob Parks

Posted on 10/06/2006 6:09:02 AM PDT by bocopar

We’re a little over a month from the general election, but why are we kidding ourselves? Deval Patrick IS going to be the next governor of Massachusetts. I hope I’m wrong, but there is one major issue of influence outside of blind, partisan voting at play here.

Deval Patrick is going to be elected for one reason and one reason only: he’s black.

I know some of you out there will take great offense to that reasoning, but all I can say is you know it’s true....

Not only do I agree with your assessment; I think most voters think because Deval was "Office of Civil Rights" that he really gives two farts about fairness. He doesn't.

What else do the Democrats of Massachusetts have to play but the "race card"? They could play the I "homosexual" card, but they already have Barney Frank serving in office, along with the Former Gary Stubbs.

The Mass Dems have been locked out of the Governorship for how long now? 16 years? More? I really can't recall. And they are DESPERATE for that office, and someone to rubber-stamp every cockamamie idea, spending bill, and tax that they can come up with.

This is actually a very interesting phenomenon.

Patrick supports things which are opposed by large majorities of MA voters, such as protection and benefits for crimaliens, more public spending and higher taxes, and expanded parole for violent felons.

There are not enough blacks in MA to tip the election. AND, despite the huge RAT advantage in registrations, these same voters have elected Republican governors since 1992.

SO - Patrick is going to win in a landslide, on the votes of white voters who disagree with him on all the issues, knowing that he is a racial activist who will hurt them every chance he gets.

Go figure.

It is not about there being a block black vote to sway the election for Deval to win, it is about making Democrats feel they have to vote for Deval because he is black.

Excellent and to the point analysis. Far, far more destructive than a sub-human white lib. is a middle of the road type whitie (becuase there are so many of them) who goes to the polls and thinks "I'm voting for a black guy. That makes me SO great on so many levels. Really says a lot about me."

The real surprise is that the record shows that although he voted in the September 1996 state primary, Deval Patrick skipped the November 1996 general election. If this record is accurate, he didn't vote for John Kerry's fight for his Senate seat against then-Governor Bill Weld. And of course, if Deval Patrick didn't vote in November 1996, he didn't vote for the man who appointed him to serve US Department of Justice two years earlier, President Bill Clinton.

Most of the truly stupid are Democratic Voters in MA. They can't even come up with a good reason why they will vote for this racist maroon except that he's a Democrat. Oh and he's "connected" to Dukakis and Bulger. They LOOOVE "connected" ....means lots of jobs for the relatives with no work involved . Pensions and time off/sick days can't be beat!

Correct me , if I am wrong, but I think the Last Democrat as a Governor in Massachusetts, was Michael Dukasis? That would of been at least since 1991. that would make it 25 years.

I am right, I checked, it has been a long, long time since the Democrats have held the governorship of Massachusetts. Not since Michael Dukasis left ..1991 ....25 years.

For the Life of me, I can not understand why being associated with Michael Dukasis, or Whitey Bulger's( on FBI wanted List) brother is a plus for anyone?

But then, I don't see why the Association with his pals here is a plus for Deval

Me neither, but here in Assachusetts, it's like the Red Badge of Courage!
We love our gangsters and our morons!
Mike Dukakis is the like the resident boll weevil of Democratic politics and Billy Bulger gives the word corrupt a worse connotation! Go figure!
We are getting out of Dodge!

Lived in Massachusetts for 20 years, and I know what you are up against, but you are winning. You know the Intelligent democrats will have to secretly vote Republican or they will vote the Green Party.

The final comment on political correctness being Deval's running mate is pure gold. Scott Allen Miller of WRKO looked into Deval's voting record on the property tax issue. Scotto was called a racist on air and on-line for this. My comments on the attack on Scotto were spiked my column in today's Malden Observer. The actual Deval slogan is "Yes We Can". This was the slogan of Woolworth's Five and Dime. They collapsed into bankcruptcy. Pray for us.

OK, 25 years. I didn't remember when he was there ruining the state, but the Dems have been salivating for that opportunity since then.... they need a rubber stamp. The Mass GOP should distribute bumper stickers

"If you liked Dukakis, You're gonna LOVE Patrick."
