The page with the original IM's turns out to have been 18 during the more sexual exchanges and not a page at the time.
Drudge revealed the IM's from this page were a "prank" between a group of guys that wanted to make fun of Foley. Foley thought the exchanges were reveal, but they were by no means "prey" because they were leading him on deliberately. They copied the exchanges and passed them out.
That page has also hired a criminal defense lawyer. So it's up to you whether you want to believe it was merely a prank that the Dems got ahold of and exploited, or if the page was complicit in the setup of the Republicans. Or, possibly is involved in blackmail but all that is speculation at this time. Al I know is that must people don't run out and hire a criminal defense attorney for a "prank". A lawyer, maybe, but not Mcveigh's lawyer.
Now ABC introduces three new claims. They have no proof other then verbal confessions that Foley preyed on them. two were adults at the time. The other claims to have been 17. They are repeating phrases that were in the famous IM's, which could imply they are merely copycats. And only a couple of hours after a story in which Drudge uses the term "prank" and the MSM had no yet reported on, one of them uses the exact same word. Evidencing at very least they were coached. Furthermore ABC did NOT lead off its newscast with this "breaking" news as they most surely would have done if they believed in its accurracy.
Right, I can see someone getting an attorney just to help with the media etc...but a CRIMINAL defense attorney? Hmmm, makes you wonder doesn't it?
