From the linked story:
"Corn [David] says he has a copy of the list but won't publish it.
"For one, I don't know for a fact that the men on the list are gay," he writes. "And generally I don't fancy outing people though I have not objected when others have outed gay Republicans, who, after all, work for a party that tries to limit the rights of gays and lesbians and that welcomes the support of those who demonize same-sexers."
So, correct me if I've reading this correctly. David Corn says that if you are gay, he will not put up with it if you are not a Democrat. In fact, he is going to force (or blackmail) you to convert by outing the details of your life.
Lemmme see, where have I seen this type of coersion lately. Oh yeah, it's the jihadists who force people at the point of a blade to be Islamic.

Corn is just trying to sound important. Many of us have a copy of the 'List'. It was available to everyone who was able to use a keyboard and mouse.

I think you have hit on the core problem here and what will be the heart of the FBI investigation. It will center on who was being blackmailed by whom, when, where and how.
How often have we ranted about inexplicable votes, moves by conservatives to stall votes on judges, etc. Perhaps blackmail by staffers,or votes as protection for blackmailed staffers will come to light and explain some of the inexplicable.
