I think that the 16 year old was the page in the e-mails, not the 18 year old page in the IMs. The 18 year old is the one that now is admitting (or being accused of) playing a prank on the "old gay guy".
If I am wrong, I am sorry ~ this story is a hard thing to keep up with!

You could be right, MOgirl; I haven't had but ab out 10-15 minutes a day or so to post this week.
What I thought I read was that the most salacious IM's and e-mails were to and from a former page who was 18 at the time of the communications. I do think there were some pretty rotten IM's to a 16 year old and Foley needed to resign.

As I understand it, they are one and the same person. He was a page at 16 and then in 2003, at age 18, he started the IM'ing. He is now 21. That's how I understand it at least.
