Secondly, I recall my days as an 18+ year old and the friends with whom I associated and none of us would have viewed this email, IM exchange as an enjoyable prank.Were you a rich, well-connected, cocky, bored kid? or were you a good one who did his homework, helped your parents, picked up baby birds, and was just an all 'round good person? The good kids don't even THINK about messin' with the lives of another person that way.

Very ironic you would post this to me as I was speaking with my son on the phone and he made a very similar comment.
He knew several pages who worked at our state capital (in Madison, WI :) while he attended our alma mater and he said most of them were "rich punks".....a rare use of terminology by a business executive.
