ANOTHER Officer violently assaulted: CONWAY, AR (partner shoots perp, cop survives)

CONWAY — A man being served commitment papers stabbed a Faulkner County sheriff ’s deputy Wednesday, prompting a second officer to shoot the assailant, Conway police said. Both men were hospitalized.

It happened about 8:55 a.m. in one of the few houses remaining along the business stretch of East Oak Street, one of Conway’s busiest traffic arteries.

Yea you are right, what is it with cops just going into peoples houses trying to take them away and have them committed on the say so of family members. I don't blame him for fighting back.There is too much missing from this article to make any rational judgment on either party.
