Sen. Chuck Schumer Gloats: We Can Win

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., likes the Democrats’ chances of taking control of the Senate in November – and he’s gloating about it in a mailing to supporters.

Schumer quoted an MSNBC news report to make his case to potential donors: "Democratic Senate candidates are tied, have a slight edge or an outright lead in every one of 10 pivotal battleground states. No Democrat trails in those races; no Republican leads."

Most observers feel that while the Democrats may well regain the House in the midterm elections, their chances of taking over the Senate are much slimmer. But the senator from New York, who is chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, is confident.

"Countless polls and news stories from this past weekend confirmed the same amazing piece of news: If the midterm elections were held today, Democrats would win the six seats necessary to retake the United States Senate,” he writes in his fund-raising message.

"Thanks to loyal Democrats' support of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee [DSCC], our Senate candidates now lead in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Montana, Missouri, Rhode Island and Tennessee. And in Virginia, Democratic challenger Jim Webb has surged to a tie with incumbent George Allen. Whenever the DSCC has needed its loyal base, you have come through for us . . .

"With the DSCC behind them, Democratic candidates have put Republicans on the defensive. But none of that will matter if we can't keep our edge in October. Now is when the real battle begins."

Schumer seeks contributions of "$50, $75 or more" for the DNCC, and adds: "Thank you so much for your support of the DSCC. Committed Democratic foot soldiers like you are the reason that Nov. 7 will be a watershed moment for American Democracy."

KEYWORDS:
New York Senator Charles Schumer as quoted in the article: "Committed Democratic foot soldiers like you are the reason that Nov. 7 will be a watershed moment for American Democracy."

"Foot SOLDIERS"? Since when do Democrats have anything but scorn for soldiers, much less praise? I think Charlie means Foot Stools. Or perhaps Foot Servants. Maybe Foot Ladders?
Watershed Moment? As in a Katrina ravaged New Orleans levee?

Schumer is a waste of space. He and his fellow human bookmarks, known as Democrats, are driven by their insidious trademark pathology. Virulent, riddled with self-guilt and loathing the United States and its traditions, their blind obsession to inflict the full burden upon their subjects (aka US citizens) the responsibility to take on the guilt and made to foot the bill of their masters.

If Democrats ever somehow acquaint themselves with the truth their mission statement would be brought out of hiding and plain spoken and printed on Charlie's obnoxious gloating mailer:
"We are repulsed by and ashamed of America! Our Goal: We demand that everyone join us in agreement by choice, the easy way. If necessary, and quite unpleasant, the hard way. We have friends in al Queda as evidenced by two well-publicized visits to the Big Apple. In fact, after their first visit they were so taken with The City That Never Sleeps (unless with one eye open), that they inspired their co-religionists back home to come and make Manhattan permanent, becoming literally part of the city. As senior senator of New York, along with my colleague Hillary, junior senator and former self-proclaimed co-President of the USA (two terms to a customer there, Hillary, as codified in the Constitution. You had yours already, right? So which is it? An unconstitutional upcoming run or a nasty Big Lie from 1992-2000? Hell, have it both ways as only you, one who gives the word smarmy a bad name has traded on since Yale).

Though well-known as naturally peaceful followers of the religion of peace, our new Muslim pals (not our previous visitors who had taken the town by storm), can, if really, really, really pushed, can play a bit rough. Not with us Democrats, though. We've honed appeasement into an exquisite art form, so they won't hurt us? Will they? WILL THEY? C'mon, stop making me feel insecure, WILL THEY? And, since our politics and their's are so very similar especially about the worst country on earth, the USA, with its history of horrors and oppression that continues unabated to this very day, having grown exponentially. Forced to live in a country as a US senator I am ashamed at the lack of opportunity that I must suffer day and night whether I'm in my well appointed offices, traveling on private jets and made to eat food that is unhealthy with fats served in upscale restaurants. Being a white man has made me feeling guilty and I vow to redeem myself by making the people pay and pay and pay. Wow, that felt good!

As a man I feel extra shame that we live in a culture where a woman (let's use Hillary as an example, she appears to resemble a female) must settle for crumbs such as multi-million dollar book deals based on lies, when she is denied her rightful place as a state imposed supreme ruler without the humiliation of undergoing degrading elections that open her to the unthinkable...Losing! She would make the greatest ruler of the world's greatest country (countries actually, he was very giving and generous to expand his rule over as many countries lucky enough to be taken. I mean taken under the wing of our Uncle Joe. Yes, Josef Stalin, her inspiration, would be proud and perhaps a bit envious of her capacity to rule with not just an iron fist, but one of titanium which would give dear Josef lessons in brutality and terror.

VOTE DEMOCRATIC...increase your chances that may avoid getting you hurt.

And Schumer gloats, why? The face of his party is one that only a Stalin could love.

I think Charlie means Foot Stools

And "stools," as in numerous piles of poop.

Agreed. There are a few people here who do not follow normal posting conventions.

As Rush said today the Dims were supposed to lead this election cycle.

Are they not so confident?

The Democrat rhetoric went from "will win seats" to "we can win seats"

"Foot SOLDIERS"? Since when do Democrats have anything but scorn for soldiers, much less praise?....."

Its not praise, it's contempt. In the Democrat context, "foot soldiers" are the same as "workers" or "worker ants". They are just faceless masses doing the nomenclatura's bidding in an unthinking and unfeeling manner. Its not about soldiers as warriors at all.

Schumer is a reported insider on the C.R.E.W. which orchestrated this.

Schumer has former staffers in CREW which made this happen.
