I want to know who made these PRIVATE conversations public!! They should be drawn and quartered. The mentally deficient turds complain about the Patriot Act and how it stomps on their "rights", but will release the very private email and IM conversations? I am outraged!
Mr. Foley DOES have a right to his sexual preferences, and he has the right for them to remain PRIVATE. I am not enamored of homosexuality, but the way this thing went down is a travesty--on SOooo many levels.

It only works because about half the voters in this nation are idiots. Shame on them.

Maybe this is the surprise. No doubt Rove will be blamed
regardless; somehow.

A Gay one at that, you know, one of those groups that they loudly proclaim they support. I really hope gay Americans are paying attention. Perhaps Democrats believe it is only acceptable to "spy" on Gays and their friends--since they think terrorist are out-of-bounds?

I think there might be more to come out about Foley. His resignation was awfully quick for just IMs.

I'm guessing Rove's Surprise probably has something to do with FROG-MARCHING several Dems down the Capital Steps for the Federal Crimes committed in THIER October Surprise....
One Pawn for a Democrat Queen, and a couple of bishops...
Sounds like a good trade to me.

I've always wondered about Pelosi. I always wondered if she wasn't a closet "Church Lady" (Dana Carvey style) though. Can you imagine a worse career buster for her than to be known as "the San Francisco Church Lady"?

DNC Says Foley Tragedy Couldve Been Avoided
The Democratic National Committee issued a statement alleging that the scandal surrounding Rep Mark Foley (R-Fla) demonstrates a lack of leadership in the Republican Party.
You didnt see people resigning in disgrace for these kinds of scandals when the Democratic Party was in the majority, Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC, said. We kept things under control.
The statement went on to list people who were able to avoid resigning in disgrace when Democrats held the majority: Rep. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass), Rep Gerry Studds (D-Mass), Rep. Jim Bates (D-Calif), Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass), and Pres. Bill Clinton (D-Ark).
The careers of these fine men were protected so they could continue their important work in government, said Dean. The record clearly shows that it is the Republicans who are so corrupt they have to resign.
The statement went on to urge voters to vote Democrat to put an end to the Republican culture of corruption.

Foley's follies. Aux cage a Foley. Foley once, shame on you. It writes itself...Foley à DU?

I respectfully disagree.
They will get the Pulitzer; a prize awarded to ad copy writers and spokespersons for the DNC posing as credentialed journalists.
The story was an awesome hit piece on a Republican and that is what wins with the judges, not accuracy or depth.

ROOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVE!!!!!Thought you might get a kick out of this.

Some observers contend that part of Roves success is based on his willingness to fight dirty. This tendency expressed itself early, in 1970, when the then-19-year-old Rove made off with sheets of letterhead from the office of Illinois Democrat Alan Dixon, which he then distributed at a campaign rally with the message free beer, free food, girls and a good time for nothing printed on them. Rove reportedly owned up to the stunt many years later, saying: I was nineteen and I got involved in a political prank, but Im not sorry.
Rove next went to work for the Nixon campaign, which brought him to the attention of then-CIA director George H.W. Bush, putting Rove on a path he would follow till today. Writes Robert Reich: Its no accident that Karl Rove was one of Richard Nixons moles. Using techniques developed by his first mentor, dirty-tricks strategist Donald Segretti, Rove infiltrated Democratic organizations on behalf of Nixons infamous 1972 campaign.
