they could not possibly have any gripe with the Amish.....not gay, not fighting in Iraq. Their "gripe" is with anyone who's not a member of their church. Given the length of time it takes to move matters through the system, I doubt that Phelps' sect is living off the avails of litigation alone.
Given Fred Phelps' longstanding association with the Democratic Party in Kansas and his previous career as a civil rights lawyer, it seems possible that Phelps is an agent provocateur for the homosexual lobby.
A thorough auditing of his finances might uncover some donors who, if exposed, would be facing some awkward questions.

She did look like a hag. I wish one of them had asked her why the WBC stays in America if it is doomed. Or if one of her daughters was shot in the head how she would feel. I don't think any airtime ought to be given to the WBC. If it is it ought to sent over to Cuba or anywhere but where Americans have to hear it. The WBC is just so full of BS it makes me sick. She said those little girls were killed by God, who is mad at America. The Amish and the people of the surrounding towns would have kept the WBC away from the funerals. Some day someone is going to go postal on them and they well deserve it. Shame on the WBC.
