It's all about two different young men...the unnamed boy in Louisiana, who was 16 when Foley became "overfriendly" in emails. And this Jordan Edmund who was outed today, and whose salacious Instant Messages with Foley were published by ABC.
Confusing to the casual observer, YES!
Confusing to the Florida voters...probably. And I hope they know now that Foley is gone and they will be voting for a man named Negron.
Political chicanery at its worst!

I'm back..... hey, legal eagles at FR, here's what I'm wondering about now: I'd been assuming that the (Jordan Edmund??) character, or whoever was on the other end of Foley's salacious IMs, was somehow involved in pushing this story to the MSM as a "sting" against Foley..... of course there are loads of facts we don't know, but what if Jordan Edmund did not have any intention of ever making these IM transcripts public, even on an anonymous basis..... what if he just shared them with a friend who later violated his privacy on this, but never gave any consent to the publication of these very private messages.....?
Would he have grounds for some butt-kicking lawsuit against ABC and others involved in what has now become his national very public embarrassment?
I had assumed that ABC must have had some kind of release form signed before going public with this, but if they didn't even know the guy was 18 y.o. at the time of the sleaziest IMs, maybe they really have screwed up badly enough to get sued for millions of $$$...... I usually detest trial lawyers, but I would enjoy seeing even John Edwards take on ABC here if it would further embarrass and humiliate them! Anyone know if they might have legal vulnerability here?
