The Pope made anti-Muslim remarks and then he apologized. No one called for his resignation or told him to cancel his existence as a public figure....Yes, they did.

You may be right, I seem to remember something about death threats, torched Churches and a murdered num. Interestingly the same publication took a shot at the Pope in this same issue, Pope not passionate about ecumenism. Having posted two articles, Jewish driver not charged in runover attempt, I figured it was enough from one issue.

Gee Sam, reading your posts and the articles you just posted, I detect:

1. A (failed) attempt at projecting a 'faux' reasonableness; and

2. A slight whiff of anti-semitism.
