I am tired of subsidizing timber barons with money loosing sales of public timber.
I have seen sales where road building costs alone were greater than the money received by the public for the timber.
If the sale will not produce a reasonable amount of profit, it should not happen.
This kind of crap has been going on long before anyone ever heard of an environmentalist. The main function of the environmentalist seems to be to give the timber barons and their shills in the bloated government forestry agencies someone to blame for the "losses".
