Like a lot of things political nowadays, the term "Swift Boating" has two different meanings. To the left, they pretend such means lies are told about their candidates.
To the right, it means the truth is told about left-wing lies.
The tiebreaker is the fact that the left never quite gets around to saying what the right-wing lies were, whereas the right documents where the left lied.

You are so right (pun intended). I have asked 2 of my liberal friends, who keep talking about the "Swift Boat lies" to document to me just two lies, out of all the charges the SBVfT brought against Kerry. Well, they still says "Swift Boat lies" however they admit to me that they don't know what those lies are.

Its like the lefts reaction to Fox verses the rights reaction to CBS and other lamestream media. We can point to Jayson Blair, forged NG documents, Koran toilet stories. They just cry "propaganda for the right" when talking about Fox news. By the way, they hired a new nurse at my job. I heard her talking to another woman when I heard her use the term drive by Media. If i was single i would have married her

Good point.
In just a few short years, liberals have complained that everyone on their side from John Kerry to John Murtha has been 'swiftboated' by those mean ol' conservatives. Even Cindy Sheehan's been 'swiftboated.'
