"Gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides used a San Francisco campaign stop today to continue pushing a plan to bring California National Guard troops home, if he is elected governor.
"The National Guard belongs here at home, securing California, protecting us against terrorist threats," Angelides said at an appearance where he was flanked by some local Democratic congressional members."
