And they did it without a comment. They figure that they don't even have to have a rationale for anything they do anymore. They are way above having to explain.

We live in a small town. If that were tried here, the teacher would be very sorry, and so would the school board.

The trouble with Contra Costa is that it is too big, and obviously run by arrogant bureaucrats.

I think that I would just take my kids for a vacation for the duration of this project.

Likewise here, and this is Upstate NY. A health teacher tried to get some *progreessive* health activities or curriculum taught here and was soundly chasitised. Good to know there's still pockets of somewhat conservative thinking in some schools today.

The school bureaucrats would punish your children in subtle ways. They would assign them to the worst teachers in the school in the following year. They would find imaginary offenses to punish. They would give them poor recommendations to college. They would never make a varsity team.,,etc.
