Unfortunately, having spent some time at the UC Berkeley “campi”, I can assure you that regardless the subject, they will incorporate their ideology into the subject matter. For the older amongst us, yes we will be able, for the most part, to spot these ideological offshoots and move on.

What better way to indoctrinate those that are to young to differentiate good from bad. Give them free access to courses from the Great and Prestigious UC Berkeley. While learning chemistry (for free), you get subtle indoctrination in the wonderful world of socialism?
